Notes

gdlists.com says:

COMMENTS To judge by the tapes in circulation this is all one long electric Dead set. It was preceded by a NRPS set to make up the complete show. The tapes show DeadBase IX to be mistaken in placing a setbreak between Casey Jones and Dire Wolf. The opening few seconds of Big RR are clipped; this version has some novel lyrics. Beat It gets 4 beats. The set concluding Good Lovin' > Uncle John's Band is said to time around 30 minutes total.

Sounds like it was shaping up to be an awesome 2nd set, but most of that got cut. Shame. 1st set fraught with sound biffetta.

So many stand outs from arguably one of their best years! Solid '70. Really peaking here, and I'm just loving the pace, and song selection. A great, warm quality you should really appreciate. This has enhanced my holiday experience for sure.

Four each from their first album, Workingman's and American Beauty. Not enough? Three from Skull & Roses. Throw in China Cat (Aoxomoxoa), and it's fair to say that the ticket-holders got more than their money's worth.

As for us here in the future...

I wish I could hear Ron's organ better. I didn't even notice it until BIODTL.
